bITjAM

bITjAM are a team of community developers, researchers, digital engagement specialists, web developers and digital artists.

As individuals they have up to 12 years experience working within the Public Sector, housing associations, Local Government and 3rd sector organisations.

bITjAM specialises in community development and digital engagement using a range of approaches including participatory appraisal, workshops, community arts as well as facilitating on and offline community activity.

Aims of the bITjAM are:

To develop and maintain a creative community based on digitally based artforms
To provide accessible digital arts for all
To support new, emerging and professional artists with the development of digital arts
To enable a learning and collaborative based community
To use digital art and digital media as a way to support social inclusion
To creatively respond to the effects of regeneration and place making.
The bITjAM will provide specialised programmed interventions for events, conferences and exhibitions, the interventions will be based on interactive and reactive sound/visual installations.
To branch out into Arts for health (digital arts on prescription)
Arts for inclusion
Supporting local industries by introducing new media for marketing, employee development, creating unique perspectives for business partners
